Bob Filner Caught Red-Handed, Read the story below Link to Brietbart's "Big Government" story on this: (HERE)
FLAMING HOT UPDATE: Big Government has a round-up on a scandals and unsavory political dealings involving local candidates — including a personal relationship involving DEMOCRAT BOB FILNER and a Southwest Airlines Employee (Congressman Filner received nearly $30,000.00 from airline and aviation special interest groups, including Southwest Airlines Pilots’ Association PAC. Besides sexual favors, there seem to have been additional perks for the Congressman. At his urging, Filner received free airfare from Southwest Airlines for constituents to travel to Washington, D.C. The Congressman’s own office admits that it enlisted the support of Southwest Airlines to help with transportation expenses for the Chula Vista Park View Little League World Champions to travel to Washington D.C. where they met with President Barack Obama. He also arranged for airfare tickets for high school students from California’s Imperial Valley to travel to the nation’s capital, all free of charge.) Read the Big Government Link Before you vote!
Attached are photographs that were talked about last night on The Rick
Amato Show. The daytime photographs with Congressman Filner in the
vehcile are the ones of him with a corporate lobbyist for Southwest
Airlines. The photograph depicts them pulling away from each other
after just having engaged in a romantic kiss. The photographs were
taken at a shopping center near the woman's residence where the
congressman's rental car had been left while he spent nearly two hours
at the residnce with the woman during the afternoon hours. The woman's
husband and family were away from the residence during this time. The
congressman can be seen being dropped off.
The nightime photographs are of Congressman showing public displays of
affection to another woman who is a relative of a former Speaker of the
California State Assembly.
The photographs were selected that would best depict what was taking
place while trying to minimize the impact on the families of the women.
Following is information showing donations to Congressman Filner from
Southwest Airlines and other aviation related political action
committees. The information can be verified at www.congress.org. You
will also find news articles and press releases about aviation related
issues where Congressman Filner sponsored legislation related to airline
maintenance to Southwest Airlines providing air transporation for
individuals including the Chula Vista Parkview Little League World
Champions. All of this arranged by Congressman Filner.
It should be noted that official congressional travel normally takes
place on United Airlines since United Airlines has a contractual
agreement with the federal government.
A romantic relationship with a corporate lobbyist? Donations from the
lobbyist's company and industry groups? Free airfare for the
Congressman's constituents? and..... Legislation related to the
lobbyist's industry? Much of this around the very time that he was
observed engaging in romantic activities with the lobbyist.

Congressman Bob Filner has Agreed to Sponsor Airline Maintenance
Outsourcing Bill
The IBT has long championed the goal of a level playing field with
regard to the regulation of aircraft maintenance. To this end the IBT
developed legislative language that would require the FAA to issue
regulations that would bring foreign repair station regulations up to
U.S. standards and impose a moratorium until the new regulations are in
place.
Congressman Bob Filner (D-Calif.), a member of the Transportation and
Infrastructure Committee (Chaired by Congressman Oberstar) and the
Aviation Subcommittee, will sponsor the legislation. Under the
language, the FAA is directed to require all covered maintenance work on
aircraft under part 121 of title 14, Code of Federal Regulations,
(essentially all commercial air transportation by U.S. carriers), be
done by individuals either working for a part 121 carrier or a U.S.
repair station operating under part 145. If working for other MRO
contractors, the individual must meet part 121 or part 145 requirements,
work under the direct supervision and control of the 121 carrier or 145
U.S. repair station, carry out the work in accordance with the part 121
carrier's maintenance manual and complete a security background check
and pass periodic random drug tests.
Another important section imposes a moratorium on new maintenance work
not done under the standards set out above with one exception per year
allowed under exigent circumstances and only after additional steps are
taken.
The Chula Vista Park View Little League Will be Visiting Washington,
D.C.!
I am proud to announce that the Chula Vista Park View Little League
World Champions are scheduled to visit President Barack Obama in
Washington, D.C. on February 5, 2010!
I enlisted the support of Southwest Airlines and AT&T to help cover the
expenses of the trip.
These boys displayed the success of solid coaching and execution of
fundamentals and discipline. They are indeed the pride of Chula Vista!.
I am proud to have them visit our nation's capital!
On Sunday, August 30, 2009, the Park View Little League Team from Chula
Vista, California, rallied to defeat the Chinese Taipei Little League
Team by a score of 6-3 to win the 2009 Little League World Series
Championship. Throughout their six games, the World Champions hit a
Little League World Series record 19 homers, breaking the previous mark
of 15 set in 2003 by a team from Tokyo, Japan.
In September of 2009, I introduced a Congressional Resolution to
celebrate and honor the Chula Vista Park View Little League team for
winning the 2009 World Championship game of the Little League World
Series.
Congressman Filner to Host 18th Annual Congressional Art Competition
Awards Ceremony
El Centro, California - Congressman Bob Filner will host an awards
ceremony and reception for Imperial Valley students who competed in the
2010 Congressional Art Competition on Friday, April 30, 2010 in El
Centro.
Each year, Congress sponsors a nationwide high school art contest called
An Artistic Discovery. The contest, which was first launched in 1982,
allows students from across the country to exhibit their artwork and
receive national recognition. The winning artwork representing the 51st
Congressional District will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one
year.
"I'm so proud to have so many talented students in my district!" said
Filner. "Each year, I see more and more students with impressive
artistic abilities and a commitment to excellence."
This year, over 150 entries were submitted from high school students in
the 51st District, almost twice as many as last year. The Grand Prize
winner and a guest will travel to Washington, D.C. in June, courtesy of
Southwest Airlines and the Barona Band of Mission Indians, where it will
be displayed along side other Congressional District winners. The Grand
Prize winner and runners up will receive San Diego Padres tickets
courtesy of AT&T, custom framing courtesy of Michaels and other great
prizes. The Grand Prize winning artwork will represent the 51st
Congressional District on display in the U.S. Capitol for one year.
Congressman Bob Filner represents California's 51st Congressional
District. One of the most ethnically diverse districts in the nation, it
encompasses southern San Diego County and all of Imperial County.
