Published Monday, July 14, 2008 in Uncategorized This stunning footage was captured near the med-evac site outside of Fallujah on April 7, 2004, about 30 minutes after "Gunny Pop" was wounded in the head with an RPG after battling inside the terrorist stronghold for thirty-six hours. The first person out of the tank (Bonecrusher) is the loader, LCpl. Alex Hernandez. He was wounded in the left arm by shrapnel from the same rocket propelled grenade that hit "Gunny Pop." Corporal Ryan Chambers (second-in-command) is seen on top, using his water bottle to extinguish a fire that burned most of the personal items stored outside the tank. Finally, a severely wounded, disoriented, blind, deaf, and badly bleeding "Gunny Pop" tries to exit the hatch, and finally does so with the assistance of Chambers. Not visible is driver Cpl. Christopher Frias (the only unwounded member of Bonecrusher), who on his first combat mission retained the presence of mind to guide the wounded warriors to safety.
